Carers Choices

A new survey launched by the University of Stirling is working to understand what carers look for in replacement care, and the types of support carers prefer.

The University is looking for carers to take part in the survey to help us improve an understanding of the types of support unpaid carers value. The survey contains a series of questions about how you as a carer might spend a social care budget when taking a break from caring. We are seeking your contributions to show of the kind of support that carers would prioritise.

If you care for someone over the age of 55 (no matter how big or small your caring role is), we are exceptionally grateful to hear your views. The link here will take you to the online survey.

The survey will remain open until 1st October 2018 and findings published here in January 2019.

If you have any questions about the research, or if you would like to receive a paper copy of the survey, please don’t hesitate to contact Nadine.thomas@stir.ac.uk 01786 466 682
